Eleven Speed is thrilled to have our second offering from our friends at Flowins Coffee! You may remember last years offering from Ms. Silvia & Gabi, it was a fan favourite! This years harvest has had its challenges, but the coffee has arrived clean and sweet, just the way we like it! This season or offering comes from Danielle Fonseca, a third generation farmer from Sul de Minas and her farm Fazenda da Serra. The coffee has been processed using a 120hr fermentation, dried on shaded African beds, for those that are interested - it has a SCA score of 89 - crazy right! we are getting aromas of vanilla, chocolate, darker fruits - think plum, red grape and spice - on the palate you will sense honey, cacao, red & black fruit & guarana. Suitable as an aeropress, V60 or as a super sweet espresso. We know you are going to love this one!
'Granddaughter and coffee farmer's daughter, she started managing the farm with her father in 2016, as early as 2018, when her parents moved to another city and her sister moved to Canada, she had to take over the management alone. Since then, she has been working tirelessly implementing sustainable practices, improving post-harvesting methods in order to show what is most special about Fazenda da Serra's coffee. Traceability of all steps involved in harvesting are available for all lots produced in Fazenda da Serra'.
