Eleven Speed has really been digging this years honey processed coffees - and this one is a standout! from the Woman owned farm 'El Copantio' in the Ocotopeque region in the Southwest corner of Honduras. The temperate climate and volcanic, nutrient-rich soil make for excellent growing conditions.
This coffee is produced under shade with the most common trees of this region like, pine, cuje, izotes and liquidámbar, also some fruit trees like, oranges, lemon and bananas. This coffee is selectively picked up by hand, pulped in the home of each producer, thus involving each member of the family and then taken to Beneficio San Marcos to finish the process
