This blend was named by Frank Torres after the historical name of La Union area of Nariño. It consists of several high-quality smaller lots from the three siblings - Gabriel, Frank, and Yorgeny. The purpose of this blend is a way of creating a larger, more manageable lot size from some really outstanding coffees grown by different members of the family. The Torres family has been producing specialty coffee for over 40years and they are known for their exceptional coffee quality. Thanks to the efforts of farmers like the Torres family, this area has been transformed from one of illicit trade and violence, into a resilient community dedicated to growing specialty coffee. Frank Torres, known for his advanced processing techniques, assists in planting, harvesting, processing, and drying all the coffees included in this blend. The result of combing the three farms into one lot is the incredibly sweet, clean, and complex profile you will experience in the final cup.
