Lilac flower aroma with fleshy fruit flavors of papaya, white peach and lychee, citrus flavors of orange and bergamot with complex herbal tones of black tea, jasmine and lemon verbena. Candied, vibrant, tannic and very tea like.
Hada Molecha represents a group of smallholder producers from the Aricha region of Yirgacheffe in Ethiopia. Each producer cultivates between two and ten hectares yielding from several hundred to several thousand pounds. This processing lot (Lot 2) has yielded an ideal washed Aricha coffee profile that celebrates the broad spanning fruity and herbal qualities possible with these spectacular native Ethiopian coffee varieties including Kurume, Wolisho, Dega and others.
